Introducing the Etsy Christmas in July Teamfor makers from around the World. This worldwide team was established to share ideas, tips, and goals for Etsy shops to get actively involved in Christmas in July.
This team was founded to be a discussion group to let other sellers know about the Etsy community driven event held every July. The team has grown in size and in its direction so that now it is a year round team! The team has such a variety of sellers and I cannot wait to introduce you to them!
Etsy Christmas in July Team was founded June 6th 2012 and the team has 3032 members and 19 leaders. This team is one of the award winning Fellowship Teams.
Michelle has molded the team into what it is now! She has infused the team with her innovative ideas and big picture outlook! She always keeps the leaders going with her energetic and endearing ways.
Michelle sells metal stamping sets, drill bit sets, jewelry pliers, hammers, vises, metalworking tools, magnification, jewelry tools, craft tools and hobby tools.
The Pattern Patter Team, founded on June 7, 2011, is a team specifically for sellers of vintage and newer sewing patterns.
Currently we have 226 members, and 6 leaders. As captain, I rely on my leaders to support the team and me by taking charge of their area of expertise. Let me introduce them!
Susan from AdelebeeAnn is our social media maven. She takes care of the team’s social media accounts by posting on all of them daily.
Next, Emily from EmSewCrazy is responsible for team events. She posts the sign up threads, organizes the participants’ information, and tallies the results!
Amy from ViennasGrace is our resident Fashionista. Her knowledge of fashion terminology as well as her ability to help with dating an item is indispensable! She also is a regular contributor on the team blog with her series Sewing and the Cinema as well as other subjects.
Cloe of CloesCloset helps to manage the team page keeping it current and fresh. She also helps with tags and titles, and SEO questions from members.
Our newest leader is Barbara of FloraDoraPresents. Barbara has taken over Member Management. She reviews applications to join the team, sends new members information, and will soon be reviewing current members to make sure they are complying with requirements.
Then there is me! Mary-Beth
Team Captain
I write blog articles, manage the advertising for the team, write the newsletter every month, and do whatever else I can to make my team members successful.
2012 Team Spirit Award Winner!
2013 Fellowship Award Winner!
2014 Fellowship Award Winner! (x2)
Pattern Patter Team has been fortunate enough to receive three Fellowship awards, one in 2013, and two in 2014. I have had a great experience in being part of the fellowship program. I have learned so much about team management and about online communities. My favorite was the group that Kim led in 2014. I have become more self-confident and organized!
The one thing I would like to share with other sellers leaders and captains is that you can’t do everything. You need a good support team. Search out possible leaders to help make your team the very best that it can be! People like to be asked to help.
Our team deals in old, fragile, paper. Not always an easy job!
Our team mantra is Saving History One Piece at a Time.

Young At heart is full of sellers that sell from the heart, here are some of the fabulous finds from this team that you may just want to stack in your stockings!
When I think of Holiday Presents the first thing that comes to my mind is Santa’s elves busily working away creating toys in a room in Santa’s home called his workshop. This is why I love shopping at Etsy for the things I give to others. That feeling like there are really elves, kind family oriented ones, sitting in small workshops in their homes around the world creating things with love or acquiring things with thoughtful minds and care for all of the creatures on the earth.
I love Etsy for things I can’t make myself, especially because it’s the closest thing to that original vision I have in my head. Goodness knows it’s where all the kids of the world are shown gifts come from., not the huge corporate buildings stuffed with underpaid workers and giant commercial nuclear powered ships that brings them across the seas.
Goodness I wonder how many children would feel about that story if they put it in a cartoon for all to see.
not what we usually think of right?
I imagine someone in a workshop like this
Workshop: Krista Beller Designs Etsy Seller!
We at the ETSY TEAMS FELLOWSHIP SOCIETY believe in supporting small business so We’ve brought together 10 teams with over 10,000 items to shop from Etsy’s Fellowship Society for this special sale and over 100 different stores represented to choose from!
